Land clearing and block clearing.
Land clearing and block clearing mean the same thing: getting trees and scrub off a piece of land so it can be built on, fenced, farmed or simply made usable. We plan what stays, take out what has to go, and leave the ground ready for the next step. Forestry mulching is part of the service.

Jobs we clear for.
- 1
House blocks before building starts, for owner-builders, builders and developers.
- 2
Acreage and rural land that has grown over.
- 3
Paddocks, fence lines and tracks.
- 4
Overgrown back yards and unused corners.
- 5
Blocks being prepared for sale, for real estate agents.
- 6
Sites for sheds, driveways, dams and solar.
How a clearing job runs.
- 1
Drew walks the block with you and agrees what stays and what goes. The quote is done on site.
- 2
We check for fences, boundaries, underground services and anything that needs approval.
- 3
The trees come down and the scrub is cleared.
- 4
The timber and green waste are dealt with the way you agreed: chipped, mulched, stacked or hauled away.
- 5
The block is left ready for the surveyor, the builder, the fencer or you.
Forestry mulching.
Forestry mulching grinds trees and scrub into mulch where they stand. It clears the land quickly, leaves the ground covered, and means there is far less to haul away. The machine is a remote-controlled tracked mulcher, so it can work on steep ground and in dense scrub, with the operator well away from the cutting. It takes everything from undergrowth up to stems around 150 mm thick.
Before you clear.
- 1
Check whether the trees and vegetation on your land are protected, and whether you need approval. Rules differ between councils and between types of land.
- 2
Have the boundaries marked, so we know exactly where to work.
- 3
Find out about underground power, water, gas, sewer and septic before any machine goes in.
- 4
Talk to your neighbours about work near the boundary.

What customers say.
“I had 15 trees removed in record time and they cleaned up so well, if there hadn't been a stray pine nut in the odd place, you would have never known they had even been there.”
“We had a really tricky job and they were quick and efficient but also left the area so clean.”
“They are trustworthy, take pride in their work and really listen to what the customer wants.”
Questions, answered.
What is the difference between land clearing and block clearing?
Nothing. They are two names for the same job: getting trees and scrub off a block so it can be built on, fenced or used.
What is forestry mulching?
It grinds trees and scrub into mulch where they stand. It clears land quickly, leaves the ground covered and means far less to haul away.
Do I need permission to clear my land?
Often you do. Native vegetation, trees near waterways and some areas are protected, and the rules vary. Check with your council before work starts.
What should I do before you start?
Have the boundaries marked, find out where underground power, water, gas, sewer and septic run, and tell your neighbours. Tell Drew what you plan to do with the block.
