How we quote

A fair price, and you can see why.

We quote what the job is worth: the work, the time, the equipment and the risk. Not what we could get away with, and never more because of the house or the customer. Every quote is priced the same way, so you know exactly what you are paying for.

Step by step

From the first call to the last cut.

  1. 1

    You get in touch

Tell Drew what the problem is. You talk straight to the arborist, who helps you understand the problem and what the options are. Our team does the rest.

  2. 2

    He comes out and looks

Every job is quoted on site, for free. Photos cannot show uneven ground, access or what is hidden, so Drew looks at the real job.

  3. 3

    You get a clear quote

The quote shows what the job involves and why it costs what it does, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.

  4. 4

    You book the day

On every job, half is paid up front to lock the day into the calendar. It is a promise both ways: the day is yours, and our team is committed to making it work. The rest is paid when the job is finished and you are happy.

  5. 5

The job is done to spec

The work is done exactly as quoted, the site is cleaned up, and you pay by bank transfer on the day. No surprises.

What goes into your price

Every consideration, laid out.

Your quote is built from the same list every time. Nothing is added on top just because of who you are or where you live.

  • ✓The work itself: how many trees, their size, height and type.
  • ✓Time on site.
  • ✓Access: gates, slopes, narrow sides and how close buildings are.
  • ✓Equipment the job needs: climbing, a spider lift, a crane, the chipper or the stump grinder.
  • ✓Risk: power lines, houses, pools and fences under the tree.
  • ✓Ground conditions, and whether track mats are worth it to protect your lawn.
  • ✓Clean-up and what happens to the timber and green waste.
  • ✓Any approvals, council or strata steps involved.

Questions, answered.

Why is every job quoted on site?

Because photos cannot show uneven ground, tight access or hidden problems, and a fair price depends on the real job. The on-site quote is free.

Is the price the same for every customer?

Yes. The price is set from the work, the time, the equipment and the risk, using the same method for everyone. It does not go up because of the house or the customer.

How do I pay?

By bank transfer. You get the invoice on the day, and it is paid when the job is finished. Half is paid up front to lock in your day.

Are there discounts?

Pensioner and local discounts are available. Ask when you call.

What if the job turns out bigger than quoted?

We quote what we see on site, so changes should be rare. If something unexpected comes up, we talk to you before doing anything extra.
